What's updated...

lowes_night and lowes_night_SBP06:
3D Grandstands and Crowd, Whelen Pit entry and exit lights, and new groove textures added.

lowes_night_SBP_allstar08:
This is a bit more detailed with 3D Crowd, Grandstands, Whelen Lights, new groove and general overhaul of all track signage and graphics, nothing has been touched too much but the lines have been darkened, walls have shadows on them now and the big red blob on the exit of turn 2 removed.

If you don't have the SBP tracks (go get them!), it will still install the addons, so it's best to have the tracks installed.
Unfortunately it was not possible to add this update to other track revisions.

HOW THEY WORK:
By selecting Trackside Objects as "SOME" you will see the original 2D Grandstands, the 3D Crowd is displayed when Trackside Objects are set to "ALL" in graphics settings.

ONLINE COMPATIBILITY:
If your league runs any of these tracks, installation of these model updates WILL NOT AFFECT ONLINE PLAY - you will able to RACE AS NORMAL, the updates do not need to be installed onto the server, a lot of files have been updated, and to keep the compatibility for multiplayer online play their installation makes quiet a mess of the tracks folders with loads of 3do and mip updates.

UNINSTALL:
Due to the high number of 3do's and mip's installed to keep compatibility with online play, about 100 new files are dumped into each track, to uninstall these updates it is best to delete the track folder completely and re-install them, the default Lowes Night track can be got from here.

Updated to Version 2 on 3rd December 2009.
The update corrects the wrong ambient setting in the new lights in the tri-oval and turns 1/2.

Thanks.
Some, but not all, mostly the ones we're using this season in our league, but I might do some others.

updated to V2, I noticed the back of the OWR cars looked strangely bright running under the new lights and worked out what was causing it and corrected it.
Just run the new installer to update the necessary files.

I wasn't aware of the crowd in the original lowes, I went and looked
I think it's a simple fix, about the T3 grandstand, I run out of time to do that one (had to have it finished by last Wednesday) and I figured nobody probably ever looked at it when racing.

Thanks.
