Righty, as we started painting cars for the ISS mod it became obvious that there were a lot of texture errors on the models at LOD level, this means that the whole mod has had to be rebuilt from the ground up to correct these errors, and I have taken the opportunity to optimize the models more for better FPS. The models are now done and all that remains is for the damage models to be re-jigged too, this should take a few weeks but a public beta (without damage) will be put up later in the week, in the meantime, after spending 4 days trying to get something to work properly, I took a break and decided to paint a car or two, as you can see above. So not long now, but there is still no date for release, in good old mod tradition, it'll be done when it's done Please see new thread.

Hmm, this version of the template was even better.
This will be the final version of the template or we will have some change?
How mdo is not yet complete, there is the possibility of getting 2 or 3 car models?
Example
It could be that car where you've already done ...
Another car with the "shark fin" that has been used in Formula One
And also another model, with the bill straighter, less rounded.
I think the mod would be perfect even if we had another 2 or 3 car models.
It's just an idea!
But you have done well the mod is excellent, I am very anxious to try it!

That's the final version of the that car's template (which makes up all 4 makes atm).
When you say sharkfin, do you mean the bit just behind the camera? like what the new McLaren has?
That actually wouldn't be too hard to include as a second car make. Doing the nose would be a bit awkward, as that part serves 5 different parts of the car (each side of the front wing is independent to the other, so you can damage one side but not the other, knock half or all the wing off) etc. which means that those parts of the model are all tied together.
I don't really have the time to make another model, but I've seen a few royalty free ones online (Prost, McLaren etc.) from the same era, now I know what I'm doing, it honestly wouldn't be overly difficult to put different makes in, if not in the v1 release, but perhaps as an update.

Yes it ... I say the "shark fin" as in the new McLaren same. But the mod look is spectacular, if it is just so great!, The best pro NR2003 mod in my opinion. I'm making more cars. I just do this, the MercedesF1Petronas

Big Image Working version of the first fictional for this mod. It's a mockup of Alexis Rainsford's TM Master Cup series car for 2010. I made the Toro Rosso but I'm waiting for them to launch the 2010 livery. I'll probably paint the Super Aguri next...

Cy has a beta copy. A public beta will be up in the week, I just want to iron some bugs out first, oh and get something added: virtual pint to the first person who can tell me what car this is (Cy excluded ) fortunately all the cars from this era looked very similar from the cockpit backwards, so this is a second make, but only the tub is different to the other model, but it's different enough to make a completely different car. I have another couple models which I'm trying to get in too, it might add a little time to release but it'll be worth it.

Oh, I know! It's a Chevy, because that's what's on all the driver helmets! Remember that Chevrolet F1 car? Kidding... I just think the Chevy logo on the driver helmet look really silly.
